Smart Touch packages |
1. |
The Commission received an application by NorthernTel Limited Partnership (NorthernTel), dated 30 April 2004, to revise item 8, Custom Calling Features; item 10, Call Management Service; item 11, Smart Package; and item 12, Smart Package 2002, under section N490 of its General Tariff in order to increase the monthly rates by $1 for each residential and business Smart Touch package. |
2. |
The Commission received no comments with respect to the application. |
3. |
The Commission notes that in Regulatory framework for the small incumbent telephone companies, Decision CRTC 2001-756, 14 December 2001, it assigned the services in question to the fourth price cap service basket. In that decision, the Commission determined that rates for such services would generally be permitted to increase up to any already approved rate for the same service. |
4. |
The Commission finds that the proposed rates are less than rates previously approved by the Commission for similar services provided by other companies. |
5. |
The Commission approves NorthernTel's application. The revisions take effect as of 28 June 2004. |
6. |
NorthernTel is to issue revised tariff pages forthwith to reflect these changes. |
