Ethernet transport service |
|
1. |
The Commission received an application by Bell Canada, dated 14 May 2004 and amended on 21 May 2004, to introduce item 123, Ethernet Transport Service (ETS), to its Access Services Tariff for Interconnection with Carriers and Other Service Providers. |
2. |
Bell Canada submitted that ETS provides transport for Ethernet traffic, from a company wire centre in which an Ethernet access terminates to a carrier-to-carrier interface. ETS has been designed to replicate to the extent possible the geographic reach and service capabilities of the company's current retail service offerings. |
3. |
The Commission will consider all comments received when making its final determination on the application. |
4. |
The Commission approves on an interim basis Bell Canada's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order. |
