  Reference: Tariff Notice 140

Wireless service provider enhanced provincial 9-1-1 network access service

The Commission received an application by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), dated 15 March 2004, to revise General Tariff item 201, Wireless Service Provider Enhanced Provincial 9-1-1 Network Access Service, in order to extend the service to the City of Edmonton. TCI proposed a revenue-neutral integrated rate of $0.0235 per month per wireless telephone number for Alberta and British Columbia. The proposed rate is a reduction from the existing rate of $0.0250 per month per wireless telephone number.

In addition, TCI proposed non-material changes to item 201 and the associated wireless service provider E9-1-1 agreement.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

The Commission approves TCI's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.
