Digital transmission facility

1.

The Commission received an application by Saskatchewan Telecommunications (SaskTel), dated 2 March 2004, to introduce Special Facilities Tariff item 1000.05, SONET OC-48 Access with Diversity Service.

2.

SaskTel indicated that the proposed arrangement would provide a SONET OC-48 digital transmission access facility, a SONET OC-48 protected diverse access facility and associated central office links between SaskTel's main switching center and mutually agreed upon primary and alternate Customer Connection Points on the customer's premises within the Regina exchange.

3.

SaskTel filed an imputation test in support of its application.

4.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

5.

The Commission finds that the imputation test is satisfactory.

6.

The Commission approves on an interim basis SaskTel's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.
