Dear Mr. Palmer,

Re: Application by Bell Canada requesting forbearance of high capacity/digital data service interexchange private line service

Pursuant to Bell Canada's application requesting forbearance for the high capacity/digital data service (DDS) interexchange private line (IXPL) route from North Bay to Sudbury, dated 26 May 2004 (the application), the Commission received comments from Ontera (formerly O.N.Telcom), dated 20 August 2004.

Bell Canada may file reply comments with the Commission, serving a copy on Ontera, by 1 September 2004 .

Where documents are required to be filed or served by a specific date, the documents must actually be received by that date.

Yours sincerely,

Paul Godin
Director,
Competition Implementation and Technology
