Me Marie-Hélène Beaulieu Subject: Part VII application seeking the CRTC intervention in the matter of dialers: modem hijacking Commission staff notes the request by L'Union des consommateurs, Option consommateurs and the Public Interest Advocacy Centre ("the applicants") dated 27 July 2004 to suspend the application referred to above dated 7 July 2004 and their proposal to resume the process on 30 September 2004 unless the applicants seek an additional delay. Commission staff confirms the suspension of the process until 30 September 2004 unless the applicants seek an additional delay and encourages the parties to find mutually agreeable solutions.
