Re: PN 2004-1, Amended procedures
On 12 May 2004, the Commission received a letter from the Canadian Cable Television Association (CCTA), requesting an extension of the filing date for responses to interrogatories, set out in paragraph 32 of Telecom Public Notice CRTC 2004-1 (PN 2004-1), from 7 July to 21 July. CCTA stated that the time allotted in the Public Notice for the preparation and filing of responses to interrogatories is not expected to be adequate.
In light of the concerns raised by CCTA, each of the dates stated in paragraphs 32 to 37 of the Public Notice will be extended by 14 days, such that:
- Responses to interrogatories are to filed with the Commission and served on all parties by 21 July 2004 (rather than 7 July, as originally specified in paragraph 32 of PN 2004-1;
- Requests by parties for further responses to their interrogatories and requests for public disclosure of information for which confidentiality has been claimed must be filed with the Commission and served on the party or parties in question by 11 August 2004;
- Written responses to requests for further information to interrogatories and for public disclosure must be filed with the Commission and served on the party or parties making the request by 18 August 2004 ;
- Any information provided pursuant to the determination with respect to requests for further information and for public disclosure must be filed with the Commission and served on all parties by 15 September 2004 ;

- All parties may file comments with the Commission on any matters within the scope of this proceeding, serving copies on all other parties, by 29 September 2004; and
- All parties may file reply comments with the Commission, serving a copy on all other parties,by 13 October 2004 .
