Re: Part VII application from NorthernTel. Limited Partnership requesting forbearance for Wide Area Networking Services

Pursuant to NorthernTel, Limited Partnership's (NorthernTel's) application requesting forbearance for Wide Area Networking (WAN) services, dated 8 April 2004 (the application), the Commission received comments from O.N.Telcom, dated 28 April 2004 and Allstream Corp., dated 10 May 2004.

To facilitate the disposal of this application, Commission staff requests that NorthernTel serve copies of the application to other WAN service providers in its operating territory, accompanied by a copy of this letter, by 26 May 2004. Interested parties may submit comments to the Commission by 9 June 2004, serving a copy on NorthernTel and other interested parties. NorthernTel may file reply comments with the Commission (including responses to requests for disclosure of information filed in confidence), serving a copy on interested parties by 16 June 2004.

Where documents are required to be filed or served by a specific date, the documents must actually be received by that date.
