Re: Decision 2001-756 - Clarification

The Commission stated in paragraph 157 of Regulatory framework for the small incumbent telephone companies, Decision CRTC 2001-756, 14 December 2001 (Decision 2001-756), that neither Phase III forecasts nor depreciation filings are required under price regulation.

In response to an inquiry from the Ontario Telephone Association, Commission staff wish to clarify that the small independent companies are not required to file either Phase III forecasts/actual results or depreciation filings effective the date of Decision 2001-756.

Yours sincerely,

Suzanne Bédard
Senior Manager, Tariffs
