Re: Annual Independent Production Report Pursuant to Decision CRTC 2002-323 and CKVU-TV Vancouver Annual Report Pursuant to Decision CRTC 2001-647

Dear Mr. Miller:

This is to advise that the Commission accepts the following two CHUM Limited reports for the 2002/2003 Broadcast Year, filed 17 February 2004:

  • Independent Production Activity Report, pursuant to Licence renewal for seven CHUM Limited television stations, Decision CRTC 2002-323, 21 October 2002; and
  • CKVU-TV Vancouver Annual Report, pursuant to Transfer of control of CKVU-TV Vancouver, Decision CRTC 2001-647, 15 October 2001.

This is also to advise that the Commission, grants your request to treat as confidential, the following information:

  • "total commitment", "development" and "expenditure in fiscal 2003" figures for individual projects reported in the Independent Production Activity Report; and
  • the licence fee paid for individual productions reported in CKVU-TV Vancouver Annual Report.

The reports will be placed on the Commission website and CHUM Limited's public examination file.
