Dear Mr. Brace:

Re: Request to reallocate BCE - CTV benefits (2004-0147-2)

This is to inform you that the Commission has approved your request dated 20 February 2004 to reallocate $7 million of BCE - CTV benefits commitments from "News and Information programming" to "Other priority programming" in order to support the production of the new, independently-produced comedy-drama series 'Corner Gas'.

It is noted that the approval of this request will facilitate the production of the second season of this series without support from the Canadian Television Fund and allow for the production of 18 episodes of this program.

Yours sincerely,

Diane Rhéaume
Secretary General
