CHVD-FM Dolbeau-Mistassini - Acquisition of assets |
|
The Commission approves the application by Groupe Radio Antenne «6» inc. to acquire, as part of a corporate reorganization, the assets of the radio station CHVD-FM Dolbeau-Mistassini, Quebec. | |
The application |
|
1. |
The Commission received an application by Groupe Radio Antenne «6» inc. (Antenne 6) to acquire, as part of a corporate reorganization, the assets of the radio programming undertaking CHVD-FM Dolbeau-Mistassini, Quebec, from Radio CHVD inc. (CHVD inc.). Antenne 6 also requested a broadcasting licence to continue the operation of the undertaking. CHVD inc. would be dissolved following the reorganization. |
2. |
Antenne 6 currently holds 100% of CHVD inc.'s voting shares. The transaction would therefore not result in any change in the control of the station CHVD-FM, which would remain under the control of Antenne 6. |
3. |
The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with this application. |
The Commission's analysis and determination |
|
4. |
The Commission approves the application by Groupe Radio Antenne «6» inc. to acquire, as part of a corporate reorganization, the assets of the radio programming undertaking CHVD-FM Dolbeau-Mistassini, Quebec. |

6. |
The licence for CHVD-FM will expire 31 August 2008, the current expiry date. The licence will be subject to the same terms and conditions as those set out in Conversion of AM radio station CHVD to FM, Decision CRTC 2001-657, 16 October 2001. |
