  Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Sainte-Famille, Quebec

CBVT Québec and its transmitter - Technical change

1. The Commission approves the application by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation to change the authorized contours of the transmitter authorized in CBVT Québec - New transmitter in Sainte-Famille, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2002-166, 3 July 2002, by decreasing the average effective radiated power from 4,400 watts to 3,150 watts and by increasing the antenna height.
2. The Commission notes that this change reflects the actual technical parameters following construction of the transmission facilities and that there will be no significant change to the coverage area.
3. The Commission reminds the licensee that, pursuant to section 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act, this authority will only be effective when the Department of Industry notifies the Commission that its technical requirements have been met, and that a broadcasting certificate will be issued.
