Distribution of distant Canadian signal on the basic service |

The Commission approves the application by Saskatchewan Telecommunications (SaskTel) for authority to distribute the distant Canadian signal of CJIL-TV Lethbridge, Alberta, as part of the basic service of the cable distribution undertaking serving Regina, Pilot Bute, White City, Saskatoon, Prince Albert, Moose Jaw, Swift Current, North Battleford, Battleford, Yorkton, Weyburn and Estevan. |

SaskTel stated that the authority would enhance the diversity of Canadian programming available to subscribers in the above-mentioned communities. |

3. |
The Miracle Channel Association, licensee of CJIL-TV, indicated that it would not accept local advertising from the above-mentioned communities. |

The Commission received no interventions in connection with this application. |
