Community Calling Plan service

1.

The Commission received an application by Aliant Telecom Inc. (Aliant Telecom), dated 13 January 2003, to revise NewTel Communications Inc.'s (NewTel) General Tariff item 50, Exchange Service, in order to introduce, through its Community Calling Plan service (CCP), toll-free calling between the Newfoundland and Labrador exchanges of Baie Verte and Wild Cove.

The Commission notes that the proposed CCP routes comply with the CCP criteria identified in NewTel's General Tariff item 50.16(b).

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

4.

The Commission approves Aliant Telecom's application. The revisions take effect as of 6 March 2003.
