Bell Canada

Reference: Tariff Notice 6717

Optional per call plan for KeyPak service

1.

The Commission received an application by Bell Canada, dated 13 December 2002, to revise its General Tariff item 685, KeyPak, in order to add, as an option, the Per Call Plan for toll calling.

Bell Canada also requested, pursuant to section 25(4) of the Telecommunications Act, Commission ratification for charging rates for this service prior to the date of the Commission's approval of this Tariff Notice.

Bell Canada filed an imputation test in support of its application.

The Commission received no comments with respect to this application.

The Commission approves Bell Canada's proposed tariff revision. The revision takes effect as of the date of this order.

The Commission notes that Bell Canada provided no information to support its request with respect to ratification. In the circumstances, the Commission is not persuaded that ratification is appropriate. Accordingly, the Commission denies Bell Canada's request to ratify charging rates for this service prior to the date of approval of this application.
