FeaturesPlus Free for 30 promotion

1.

The Commission received an application by Northwestel Inc. (Northwestel), dated 19 December 2002 and amended on 6 January 2003, to revise item 1701.1, FeaturesPlus Free for 30 Promotion, of its General Tariff in order to offer a promotion from 1 February 2003 to 31 January 2004.

Northwestel requested the implementation of a promotion which provides for the waiver of one time service charges and/or provides for a free trial period of 30 days of voice messaging services or enhanced calling features to customers who have not previously subscribed to these services. The proposed revisions also include the name change of the current promotion from Free for 30 to FeaturesPlus Free for 30.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

The Commission approves Northwestel's application.
