Le Téléphone de St-Éphrem inc.

Interest paid on customer deposits

1.

The Commission received an application by Le Téléphone de St-Éphrem inc. (St-Éphrem), dated 30 October 2003, to revise General Tariff item 1.2.7.5, Terms of Service, in order to modify the interest rate paid on customer deposits to a rate pegged to the monthly rate of savings account of La Fédération des Caisses Desjardins du Québec.

St-Éphrem also proposed to remove section 2.3 of the tariff dealing with two-party line service which is no longer available, and to make minor corrections to section 2.12 of the General Tariff.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

4.

The Commission approves St-Éphrem's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.

5.

St-Éphrem is to issue revised tariff pages forthwith to reflect these changes.
