Centrex Service - Loyalty Plan

1.

The Commission received an application by MTS Communications Inc. (MTS), dated 15 October 2003, to revise General Tariff item 1980, Centrex, in order to introduce a customer loyalty plan for customers who:

  • are in rate bands A to C;

  • have entered into at least a one-year contract with MTS for Centrex service, but excluding a contract for National Centrex Service; and

  • have selected MTS as the customer's primary interexchange carrier for long distance services.

2.

MTS submitted that existing and new customers who subscribe to MTS's contracted Centrex service and who also use MTS for their long distance service would be able to choose up to two of the following four calling features, at no charge, for each eligible Centrex line: Call Forward Remote Activation, Simultaneous Ring, Speed Calling/Group - 10 number or Speed Calling/Group - 50 number.

3.

The company further submitted that the complimentary features must be installed on the same Centrex line that uses MTS's long distance service.

4.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

5.

The Commission approves MTS's application. The revisions take effect as of 1 December 2003.
