General mobile telephone service

1.

The Commission received an application by Saskatchewan Telecommunications, (SaskTel), dated 12 December 2002, to revise General Tariff item 400.10, General Mobile Telephone Service (GMTS), in order to reflect that this service is no longer available for new installations, additions to existing installations or moves and rearrangement on the same or different premises.

GMTS is a very high frequency radio-telephone service that provides a small number of customers in northern Saskatchewan access to both SaskTel's switched network and to other mobile telephone customers.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

4.

The Commission approves SaskTel's application. The revisions take effect as of 27 January 2003.
