Prince Rupert City Telephones

Reference: Tariff Notice 60

Local directory assistance service

1.

The Commission received an application by Prince Rupert City Telephones (CityTel), dated 4 November 2002, to revise General Tariff item 9, Local Directory Assistance, in order to introduce a service charge of $0.95 per request for a local telephone number provided by CityTel directory assistance.

In its application, CityTel also proposed to include the same exemption eligibility criteria for Local Directory Assistance service as those approved for Bell Canada in Bell Canada - Directory assistance with automated directory assistance call completion service, Telecom Order CRTC 99-741, 29 July 1999.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

The Commission approves CityTel's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.

5.

CityTel is to issue a revised tariff page forthwith to reflect this change.
