Aliant Telecom Inc.

Voice Information Service

1.

The Commission received an application by Aliant Telecom Inc. (Aliant Telecom), dated 10 June 2003, to revise NewTel's Communications Inc.'s (NewTel) item 370.24, Voice Information Service (VIS), of its General Tariff in order to clarify the tariff wording as to how the service is offered.

2.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

3.

The Commission notes that the proposed changes will have no impact on the rates, terms and conditions of the tariffs, and that the revisions are primarily of a housekeeping nature.

4.

The Commission approves Aliant Telecom's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.
