Telecom Order CRTC 2003-24

Ottawa, 13 January 2003

TELUS Communications Inc.

Reference: Tariff Notices 75 and 75A

Promotion for online orders

The Commission received an application by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), dated 8 November 2002 and modified on 5 December 2002, to revise General Tariff items 300, Call Management Services; 301, Voice Mail Service (VMS); 302, Residence Value Bundle; and 303, Residence No Limits Bundle. The revisions would permit the introduction of a time-limited promotion that would encourage residential customers to order call features, voicemail or bundles through TCI's Internet site.

During the period from 28 January 2003 to 30 June 2003, TCI proposed to offer a one-time discount of $1 per new chargeable Call Management Services or VMS mailbox feature or residence bundle off of the customer's first monthly bill.

In its application, TCI also proposed to withdraw the promotion and associated tariff pages upon expiry, effective 1 July 2003.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

The Commission approves TCI's application.
