TELUS Communications Inc.

  Reference: Tariff Notice 101

Data transmission - Multi-point anti-streaming service

The Commission received an application by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), dated 23 April 2003, proposing revisions to Special Facilities Tariff item 628, Data Transmission - Multi-point Anti-streaming Service (MASS) (B.C. Only), pertaining to a new three-year contract offering with a revised rating structure.

TCI submitted that its customer in British Columbia wishes to continue service under the new three-year contract and has agreed to the new rates, terms and conditions as proposed by the company.

TCI also submitted that the new contract would also specify that the service is required to be provided, and would only be provided, consistent with tariff item 628 as approved by the Commission, in accordance with paragraph 12 of Measures with respect to incumbent telephone company regulatory compliance, Telecom Public Notice CRTC 2003-4, 10 April 2003.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

The Commission approves TCI's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.
