Reference: Tariff Notice 63

Residential additional individual line service charge waiver promotion

The Commission received an application by Prince Rupert City Telephones (CityTel), dated 11 March 2003, to revise item 4, Exchange Rates, under section 2 of its General Tariff in order to offer a promotion to residential customers whereby CityTel would waive the applicable Field or Office Connection service charges when customers subscribe to a residential additional individual line, between 1 May 2003 and 30 June 2003.

During the promotion, CityTel would waive the Field or Office Connection charge as contained in item 1, Multi-Element Plan (MEP) Service Charges, under section 6 of its General Tariff. Customers must retain the residential additional individual line for at least six months.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

The Commission approves CityTel's application.

CityTel is to issue revised tariff pages forthwith reflecting this change.
