Telecom Order CRTC 2003-111

Ottawa, 14 March 2003

Execulink Telecom Inc.

Reference: Tariff Notice 38

Custom calling features and call management services

1.

The Commission received an application by Execulink Telecom Inc. (Execulink Telecom), dated 27 January 2003, to revise item 6, Custom Calling Features, and item 7, Call Management Services, under section 490 of its General Tariff, in order to increase the following monthly rates:

· residential rates for Call Return, Call Screen, Three-Way Calling and Fixed Call Forwarding from $3.00 to $5.00;
· residential rate for Call Waiting from $5.00 to $6.00;
· residential rate for Call Display from $7.00 to $8.00;
· business rate for Fixed Call Forwarding from $5.00 to $7.00;
· business rate for Call Waiting from $7.00 to $8.00; and
· business rate for Call Display from $9.00 to $10.00.

2.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

3.

The Commission notes that in Regulatory framework for the small incumbent telephone companies, Decision CRTC 2001-756, 14 December 2001, optional services, such as those submitted by Execulink Telecom, are included in the fourth price cap service basket. In that decision, the Commission determined that rates for services in the fourth basket would generally be permitted to increase up to any already approved rate for the same service.

4.

The Commission finds that the rates proposed by Execulink Telecom have been previously approved for the same services provided by other companies.

5.

The Commission approves Execulink Telecom's application. The revisions take effect as of 1 April 2003.
