  The licensee proposes to amend the licence by changing the frequency of its transmitter CFVD-FM-2 Pohénégamook from 104.9 MHz (channel 285LP) to 92.3 MHz (channel 222A) and by increasing the average effective radiated power from 15 watts to 294 watts with a directional antenna (maximum effective radiated power 975 watts/antenna height 50.7 metres).
  The licensee proposes to amend the licence by increasing the average effective radiated power of its transmitter CFVD-FM-3 Squatec from 10 watts to 301 watts with a directional antenna (maximum effective radiated power 957 watts/antenna height 139.9 metres).
  The licensee also proposes to increase significantly the authorized contours of CFVD-FM-2 Pohénégamook and CFVD-FM-3 Squatec resulting from the increases in power and changes to the antenna height.
  The Commission notes that the proposed increases in power would change the status of CFVD-FM-2 Pohénégamook and CFVD-FM-3 Squatec from unprotected low power to regular Class A transmitters.
  The licensee wishes to improve the signal quality of its transmitters.
