Re: Call-Net Enterprises Inc.'s 6 October 2003 Part VII application regarding Bell Canada and TELUS DSL Marketing

Bell Canada is requested to file its responses to the following questions as soon as possible but no later than 5 January 2004, serving a copy on the other parties by that date. The documents are to be received, and not merely sent, by 5 January 2004.

In its 27 October 2003 submission in the above-named proceeding, Bell Canada stated, at paragraph 13:
"Under this implementation schedule, Bell Canada expects to be able to permit all of its customers capable of ordering DSL service not served from remotes to split their DSL service from their local exchange service in Ontario by the end of October and by the end of November in Quebec."

a) Is Bell Canada currently able, within Ontario and Quebec, to permit all of its customers capable of ordering DSL service, not served from remotes, to split their DSL service from their local exchange service?
b) If the answer to a) is no, indicate what percentage of Bell Canada's customers, capable of ordering DSL service, not served from remotes, are able to split their DSL service from their local exchange service.

Please include an EMAIL copy of your responses to: paul.godin@crtc.gc.ca.

Yours sincerely,
