Temporary revised parameters

1.

The Commission approves the application by Radio 1540 Limited to amend the authority granted in New ethnic FM station for Ottawa/Hull, Decision CRTC 2001-625, 4 October 2001, to allow it to temporarily operate the new radio station with revised technical parameters. Specifically, the licensee requested authority to relocate its transmitter from Camp Fortune, Quebec, to Place de Ville, Tower C, in Ottawa, Ontario, and to increase the effective radiated power from 800 watts to 1,500 watts at a lower antenna height. This will result in reduced coverage, but for a temporary period only.

The Commission notes that it has received another application by Radio 1540 Limited to relocate its transmitter and increase its effective radiated power on a permanent basis.

In order that the Commission's files may be kept up-to-date, the licensee is required to advise the Commission of the actual implementation date of these changes.
