Revocation of licence

1.

Parliamentary Broadcasting Society has requested the revocation of its licence for the radio programming undertaking CHLA-FM Whitehorse.

2.

Given the licensee's request, the Commission revokes, pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the broadcasting licence issued to Parliamentary Broadcasting Society for the above-mentioned undertaking.

3.

Accordingly, no action is required on the licence renewal application 2002-0432-1 published in Streamlined renewals for radio programming and radio network undertaking licences due to expire in 2003, Broadcasting Public Notice CRTC 2002-68, 5 November 2002.
