The licence will be subject to the conditions set out in New licence form for commercial radio stations, Public Notice CRTC 1999-137, 24 August 1999, as well as to the following condition of licence:
- In each broadcast year, the licensee shall expend a minimum of $25,000 for generally accepted direct Canadian talent development initiatives, as set out in Appendix I of An FM Policy for the Nineties, Public Notice CRTC 1990-111, 17 December 1990.

The Commission reminds the licensee that it must continue to fulfil the commitments related to the development of Canadian talent set out in Assets transfer - CKST Vancouver, Decision CRTC 2000-766, 21 December 2000, in which the Commission approved the application by Grand Slam Radio Inc. (Grand Slam) to acquire the assets of CKST Vancouver from Radio One Broadcasting Corporation, and reiterated in CKST Vancouver - Acquisition of assets, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2003-41, 10 February 2003, in which the Commission approved the application by CHUM Limited to acquire the assets of CKST from Grand Slam. The Commission also encourages the licensee, during the new licence term, to continue its efforts to support, develop and provide on-air exposure of local and regional talent.
