CHNM-TV Vancouver - Technical change

1.

The Commission approves the application by The partners of Multivan Broadcast Limited Partnership1 to increase the effective radiated power (ERP) of the television programming undertaking CHNM-TV Vancouver, from 40,000 watts to 76,000 watts, and to change the authorized contours.

2.

The licensee indicated that it would relocate the transmitter for CHNM-TV Vancouver to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation site on Mount Seymor, approximately 200 meters from the existing site. The Commission notes that there will be a slight increase in the coverage contours as a result of the increase in the ERP and the relocation of the transmitter.
