The licensee currently operates on frequency 89.7 MHz (channel 209 LP) with an effective radiated power of 0.6 watt, a non-protected FM low power service. |
|
|
This frequency has been selected by a regular power station and the Department of Industry requires the licensee to select another frequency. |

The licensee proposes to delete the transmitter CFFC-FM Fox Creek from its licence CKYL Peace River and to add that same transmitter to its licence CKKX-FM Peace River. |
|
|
The Commission notes that there will be no technical changes to the CFFC-FM transmitter which operates on frequency 92.1 MHz (channel 221 LP) with an effective radiated power of 44 watts. |
|
|
Should these proposed amendments be approved, the residents of Fox Creek would receive the programming service of CKKX-FM instead of CKYL Peace River. |
