Fox Creek, Alberta
Application Nos. 2002-0459-5, 2002-0458-7

Applications by PEACE RIVER BROADCASTING CORPORATION LTD. to amend the licences of radio stations CKYL and CKKX-FM Peace River.

The licensee proposes to delete the transmitter CFFC-FM Fox Creek from its licence CKYL Peace River and to add that same transmitter to its licence CKKX-FM Peace River.

The Commission notes that there will be no technical changes to the CFFC-FM transmitter which operates on frequency 92.1 MHz (channel 221 LP) with an effective radiated power of 44 watts.

Should these proposed amendments be approved, the residents of Fox Creek would receive the programming service of CKKX-FM instead of CKYL Peace River.
