In Public Notice CRTC 2002-38 dated 19 July 2002, the Commission called for comments on the broadcasting regulatory framework for Internet retransmission of over-the-air television and radio signals. The Commission established a two-stage process for the filing of written comments, with initial comments to be filed by 6 September 2002 and reply comments by 4 October 2002. |

At the request of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters, the Commission extends the deadline for the filing of initial comments to 13 September 2002. The deadline for the filing of reply comments remains 4 October 2002. |
