Telecom Order CRTC 2002-444

Ottawa, 2 December 2002

Bell Canada

Reference: Tariff Notice 6694

Lease of channels

The Commission received an application by Bell Canada, dated 18 October 2002, to revise its Special Facilities Tariff item F35(a), Impedance Matching Arrangement - Signal Channels, in order to reflect that this arrangement is no longer available for new installations or additions to existing installations as this technology is outdated.

In its application, Bell Canada noted that this service is now provided through item 950.2(a)(2)b of its General Tariff.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

The Commission approves Bell Canada's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.
