Transfer of optional voice services tariff items

1.

The Commission received an application by Aliant Telecom Inc. (Aliant Telecom), dated 23 September 2002, to transfer the following optional voice services tariff items to Aliant Telecom General Tariff (ATGT):

- Island Telecom Inc. (Island Tel) General Tariff item 692 to ATGT item 338, Answer Supervision;
- Island Tel General Tariff items 765 and 766 to ATGT item 328, Direct-Inward-Dialing for Access Service;
- Maritime Tel & Tel Limited (MTT) General Tariff item 731 to ATGT item 338, Answer Supervision;
- MTT General Tariff item 800 to ATGT item 328, Direct-Inward-Dialing for Access Service;
- NBTel Inc. (NBTel) General Tariff item 175.1 to ATGT item 328, Direct-Inward-Dialing for Access Service;
- NBTel General Tariff item 180.1, to ATGT item 324, Network Access Busy Out Feature;
- NBTel General Tariff item 215.1 to ATGT item 338, Answer Supervision;
- NBTel General Tariff item 217.1 to ATGT item 326, Music on Hold;
- NewTel Communications Inc. (NewTel) General Tariff item 235 to ATGT item 328, Direct-Inward-Dialing for Access Service; and
- NewTel General Tariff item 335 to ATGT item 338, Answer Supervision.

The Commission notes that Aliant Telecom has not proposed any change in pricing for the above-noted services.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

4.

The Commission approves Aliant Telecom's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.
