Market trial for the voice and fax messaging service |

The Commission received an application by Aliant Telecom Inc. (Aliant Telecom), dated 20 September 2002, to add General Tariff item 310.1, Voice Mobility Service (VMI), in order to introduce a VMI service on a market trial basis for a period of one year. |

Aliant Telecom noted that the proposed VMI service would allow end users to retrieve and manage both voice and fax messages from one mailbox, with one number. The proposed VMI service would provide end users with centralized messages and the ability to change call connections and settings. |

Aliant Telecom proposed to make the market trial available to customers in Halifax and Sydney, Nova Scotia. |

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application. |
5. |
The Commission approves Aliant Telecom's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order. |
