The Commission received an application by Prince Rupert City Telephones (CityTel), dated 8 July 2002 and modified on 21 August 2002, to revise item 12, Credit Payment Plan, under section 1 of its General Tariff in order to change the monthly interest rate paid on deposits that are maintained for credit purposes. |

CityTel proposed that subscribers required to maintain a deposit for credit purposes would receive interest at the per annum rate of the Bank of Canada business prime rate in effect on the first day of each month, less 3%. |

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application. |

The Commission approves CityTel's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order. |

5. |
CityTel is to issue a revised tariff page forthwith to reflect this change. |
