Basic listing interchange file service

1.

The Commission received an application by Thunder Bay Telephone, dated 23 June 1999, to introduce item 6, Basic Listing Interchange File Service, under section TB85 of its General Tariff. This new item provides local exchange carriers with a machine readable file containing non-confidential customer listing information for customers listed in its directory and directory assistance database.

The Commission approved the application on an interim basis in Telecom Order CRTC 99-787, 12 August 1999.

3.

The Commission received no comment with respect to the application.

4.

The Commission approves on a final basis Thunder Bay Telephone's application.
