Transfer of inside wire in the City of Edmonton

1.

The Commission received an application by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), dated 19 July 2001, modified on 30 October and 22 November 2001, to revise General Tariff items 25, 26, 26-A and 100, General Terms of Service, in order to transfer the responsibility for inside wire to customers in the City of Edmonton. TCI also proposes to make revisions reflecting the terms and conditions under which it would move its Service Provider Demarcation Point in existing multi-dwelling units in the City of Edmonton.

TCI filed its proposal in accordance with the Commission's directives in paragraphs 9 to 11 of The Commission extends determinations on the EastLink/Norigen application (access to in-building wire) to all local exchange carriers, Decision CRTC 2001-362, 19 June 2001, which refers to the directives in the Commission's letter decision dated 25 July 2000.

The Commission approved the application on an interim basis in Transfer of inside wire in the City of Edmonton, Telecom Order CRTC 2002-21, 15 January 2002.

The Commission received no comment with respect to the application.

5.

The Commission approves on a final basis TCI's application.
