Electronic Directory Database Access Service


The Commission received an application by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), dated 4 June 2002, to revise the former TCI and TELUS Communications (B.C.) Inc. General Tariff in order to withdraw items 535 and 182 respectively, Electronic Directory Database Access Service, (collectively EDDA), as there are no customers for this service.


EDDA provides real-time electronic access to the Company's non-confidential residential/business/government listings which include the name, address (when available) and telephone numbers of customers in the Company's operating territory.


The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.


The Commission approves TCI's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.
