Agreement specifying the procedures of the interexchange carrier group


The Commission received an application by Saskatchewan Telecommunications (SaskTel), dated 18 June 2001, for approval of the executed Agreement Specifying the Procedures of the Interexchange Carrier Group (the agreement) between SaskTel and Primus Telecommunications Canada Inc. (Primus).


The agreement sets out the terms and conditions under which SaskTel will provide equal access interconnection to Primus, as well as the role and responsibilities of SaskTel's Carrier Services Group in relation to the interconnection of facilities between SaskTel's and Primus' networks.


The Commission approved the application on an interim basis in Order CRTC 2001-593, 26 July 2001.


The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.


The Commission approves on a final basis SaskTel's application.
