TCI and SaskTel accept revised interim rates for unbundled loop-service order charges |

In paragraphs 46 and 47 of Decision CRTC 2001-694, Interim approval for revised unbundled loop-service order charges, dated 16 November 2001, TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI) and Saskatchewan Telecommunications (SaskTel), respectively, were requested to comment on the appropriateness of adopting Bell Canada's revised fixed-rate and variable-rate service order charges applicable to both type A and B unbundled loops, on an interim basis, effective 1 January 2002. |

By letters dated 5 December 2001, TCI and SaskTel indicated that they considered it acceptable to use Bell Canada's revised fixed-rate and variable-rate service order charges ordered in paragraph 42 of Decision 2001-694 on an interim basis. Accordingly, TCI and SaskTel proposed to adopt these rates on an interim basis, effective 1 January 2002, if ordered by the Commission. |

The Commission hereby approves, on an interim basis, the fixed-rate per-order charges of $46.50 for business and $25.25 for residence, and the variable-rate per-loop charges of $27 for business and $17 for residence effective the date of this order, for TCI and SaskTel. |

TCI and SaskTel are hereby directed to issue forthwith revised tariff pages reflecting the determinations therein. |
