1.

The Commission received an application by North Renfrew Telephone Company Limited (North Renfrew), dated 18 March 2002 and amended on 30 April 2002, to revise item 4, Rate Schedules for Primary Exchange (Local) Service, under section 100 of its General Tariff, and item 5, Touch-Tone, under section 490 of its General Tariff, in order to increase monthly rates as follows:

- residential primary exchange service by $0.30;

- business primary exchange service by $0.50;

- residential Touch-Tone by $0.03; and

2.

In its application, North Renfrew noted that the $0.13 monthly charge for the Bell Canada Message Relay Service is included in the residential and business primary exchange service rates.

3.

North Renfrew submitted that the proposed revisions result from adjustments for inflation and are in accordance with Regulatory framework for the small independent telephone companies, Decision CRTC 2001-756, 14 December 2001.

4.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

5.

The Commission approves North Renfrew's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.

6.

North Renfrew is to issue forthwith revised tariff pages to reflect these changes.
