SmartTouch services promotion

1.

The Commission received an application by TELUS Communications (Québec) Inc. (TELUS Québec), dated 28 May 2002, to revise General Tariff item 2.20.03, SmartTouch Services, in order to introduce a promotion for all local residential subscribers from 12 August 2002 to 29 September 2002.

TELUS Québec proposed that during this promotion, new subscribers would receive the following SmartTouch features for the first three months:

- call forwarding, Ident-A-Call, three-way calling, call return, call screen and mini-voice messaging at a monthly rate of $1.95 each; and

- call waiting and voice messaging at a monthly rate of $2.50 each.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

4.

The Commission approves TELUS Québec's application.
