Upgrade of two-party lines to single-party lines |

The Commission received an application by People's Telephone Company of Forest Inc. (People's), dated 6 May 2002, to revise General Tariff section 100, Exchange Service, in order to upgrade all two-party line services to single-party line services. |

Cable plant and remote switching facilities have been installed throughout People's exchanges in order to provide single-party line service to all customers. People's proposed to upgrade current two-party line services to single-party line services at no charge to customers. A customer would be charged for single-party line service when its upgrade is completed. |

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application. |

The Commission approves People's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order. |

5. |
People's is to issue forthwith revised tariff pages to reflect these changes. |
