Resale and sharing

La Cie de Téléphone de Courcelles Inc.
Reference: Tariff notice 16


The Commission received an application by La Cie de Téléphone de Courcelles Inc. (Courcelles), dated 29 April 2002, to revise its General Tariff in order to add item 6.1, Resale and Sharing, in accordance with Extending the availability of alternative formats to consumers who are blind, Telecom Decision CRTC 2002-13, 8 March 2002.


The new item provides for the addition of a condition of service in contracts or other arrangements with resellers, requiring resellers to provide, in alternative format:

- billing statements and bill inserts, upon request, to subscribers who are blind; and

- information about rates, terms and conditions of a service, upon request, to subscribers or potential subscribers who are blind.


The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.


The Commission approves Courcelles' application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.


Courcelles is to issue forthwith revised tariff pages to reflect these changes.
