Telecom Order CRTC 2002-261

Ottawa, 4 July 2002

Prince Rupert City Telephones
Reference: Tariff notice 55

Cellular promotions

The Commission received an application by Prince Rupert City Telephones (CityTel), dated 28 March 2002, to revise item 12, Cellular Promotions, under section 12 of its General Tariff, in order to introduce the Free Activation promotion for all new CityTel cellular customers.

As part of its promotion, the company proposes to waive the service connection charge during the following two periods: from 1 June 2002 to 1 September 2002 and from 1 December 2002 to 31 December 2002.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

The Commission approves CityTel's application.

The Commission permits CityTel to begin offering the first three-month promotion, at a later date.

Accordingly, CityTel is to issue forthwith revised tariff pages reflecting this amendment.
