The Commission received an application by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), dated 11 January 2002, to revise the former TCI General Tariff in order to withdraw item 180, Personal Auto-Dial Alarm System (PADAS). |

PADAS, a medical monitoring service involving a customer-provided medical emergency alarm-signaling device, may be connected to the Company's public switched telephone network utilizing a specialized jack purchased by the customer from any supplier. A PADAS customer is solely responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of PADAS customer-provided equipment. There are no specific charges associated with this service in item 180, and other charges that may be associated with customer-provided PADAS equipment, such as those for line conditioning or hourly rates for jack installation, are covered in other existing Company tariffs. |

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application. |

The Commission approves TCI's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order. |
