Local and long distance directory assistance

1.

The Commission received an application by TELUS Communications (Québec) Inc. (TELUS Québec), dated 15 March 2002, to revise General Tariff item 2.26.03, Directory Assistance, in order to offer customers the option of having their local and long distance directory assistance charges billed to a third number or a calling card.

The company also proposed to offer, where technology permits, the directory assistance blocking feature for single-line telephone numbers and residential and business main telephone numbers.

3.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

4.

The Commission approves TELUS Québec's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.
